Sue works with highly motivated individuals to develop their own definition of success.

Most clients want to achieve specific goals so they can lead a more fulfilling life and a plan will be designed that is specific to your needs and aspirations.

Coaching sessions are for adults 18 years and over.

Initial Consultation – The Discovery Session

Do you have questions about coaching – not sure if it is for you?

The initial consultation (meeting or telephone conversation) is free and is for both parties to discover if they would like to develop a coaching relationship.  It can also jumpstart that relationship!  Sue will not take on clients unless she  feels that coaching is the right choice and there’s a good fit between coach and client – it’s important that you are with the right person to help you.

Subsequent Coaching Sessions

During the first payable coaching session the client trains the coach!

There’s discussion of how to work together, how the client would like to be coached and the tools and structures that will be useful.  The coach finds out who you are, what you wish for in your life and what to hold for you as your vision.

How long is a session?

Scheduled sessions will be at an agreed time and date for one hour or two hours, depending on your requirements.

What does it cost?

Coaching is normally a process to reach goals.  Most people book a number of sessions as a programme, that both coach and client agree will be a reasonable way to reach those goals.

You could think of this as a short term investment for your long term future.

Example Programmes:

The Decision Maker: £80

  • Two one hour sessions or one two hour session
  • E-mail support
  • Personal action pack
  • Free 30 minute Discovery Session for you to “try before you buy” if you’re new to Northcott Diagnostics

Focus on a challenge or decision to be made quickly.  For example, applying for a new job, tackling a project you have put off, clarifying relationship issues or building confidence to tackle a specific issue at work.

Clearly see the changes you wish to make and perhaps move on to The Challenge coaching programme:

The Challenge: £160

  • Four one hour sessions or two two hour sessions
  • E-mail support between sessions
  • Personal action pack
  • Free one hour Discovery Session for you to “try before you buy” if you’re new to Northcott Diagnostics

Explore a particular challenge or goal.  The sessions could run once a week, over a month, or over a  longer period, to suit you.  (There may be a certain amount of time required between sessions to clarify your goals and how to tackle them.)  Perhaps you’re thinking of changing career path, working less or more hours, starting a business, pursuing a sports/performance goal, or you may be at a “stuck” point with a relationship or other important aspect of your life.

Your Own Definition of Success: £500

A journey of discovery, to set wheels in motion for the future you want!

  • Twelve one hour sessions or six two hour sessions
  • E-mail support between sessions
  • Personal action pack
  • Bespoke challenge pack, collated and tailored for what you want to achieve
  • Free one hour discovery session for you to “try before you buy” if you’re new to Northcott Diagnostics

Stand alone coaching sessions are charged at £30 per hour.  There isn’t any additional support around these sessions.  They are less expensive per hour because they’re one-off’s without the ongoing time and preparation per session required from a coaching programme.

One-off sessions are usually for the more sports/event coaching oriented approach (e.g. pep talk, preparation for a presentation) or as a gift certificate for someone looking to try coaching.

How Are Payments Made?

All sessions are payable in advance by cash, cheque or bank transfer (internet banking).  (There is a PayPal button on the website as a backup to the other payment methods.  However, as PayPal takes a cut of each payment it’s great if you can pay by one of the other ways listed.)  Programmes of coaching are paid as a total sum up front or in installments as agreed with the coach.

Discounts are available for booking several blocks of sessions at a time – please ask.

If you refer someone for coaching and they’re accepted as a client (plus pay for at least one programme) you will be credited with one free coaching session yourself.

How do sessions take place?

Coaching sessions will be in a format convenient to you, which can be discussed (face to face, telephone, Skype call, etc.).  It’s recommended that the first coaching session (after the Discovery Session) is face to face so client and coach can get to know each other.

Face to face sessions are in Grange, Morayshire, near to Keith, in a quiet, confidential environment.  Directions will be given once you’re accepted as a client.

‘Phone/video calls are made by the coach to the client.  ‘Phone calls must be to a landline number to get a good quality for the call.  Video calls may only be possible with a certain minimum broadband speed and certain applications.

What happens if I’m late to a session?

Because the coach will have other clients, sessions must finish at the pre-arranged time.  It is your responsibility to start a call on time or to arrive for a meeting on time.

There will not be a refund or extra time given if the client is late to a session unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as a one-off family emergency.  This is at the coach’s discretion.

Scheduling sessions

Try to book as far in advance as possible for the times/dates you want to avoid disappointment.

The core booking hours are 09:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday.  However, it’s appreciated that these may not suit if you have a full time job, etc.  Discuss what will be helpful to you with the coach.

Rescheduling a session

If you need to re-schedule a session, 48 hours advance notice is required.  The coach will also give you a minimum of 48 hours advance notice if re-scheduling is necessary from their side.

If you give less than 48 hours notice, you will forfeit the session and the fee.

Expenses

The coach does not cover any of the client’s expenses associated with the session.

Closing Session

As mentioned, coaching sessions can be one-offs (e.g. preparation for a job interview, etc.) or a programme to work on longer term goals.  It’s helpful to have a closing session for the latter to bring everything together.

Communication

Emails will receive a response within 2 working days.  Sue will take ‘phone calls when possible during normal working hours (09:00 – 17:00) and respond to ‘phone messages within 2 working days.  Exceptions to this will be advised on “out of office” automated replies.  If you don’t receive a response please check your email spam filter, for example, or contact Sue – sometimes despite everyones’ best efforts messages don’t get through.
